Panchase Lake Pilgrimage, 3 nights / 4days
Come and hike the mystic trails of holy Mountain-Mother Panchase. Inhale the clear and clean Himalayan mountain air that opens us to an inner nature experience. We will do yoga practices inside the " lap" of Panchase Mother's slopes. We we will engage in Nature Worship Yoga practices and fire ceremonies in perfectly sound patches of grassland surrounded by tall forest trees, that sits atop an extinct volcanic flue. Inner things happen with yoga practice on Panchase mountain. What you learn here can be taken back with you when you return to your homeland nature.
Every day reveals a different trail and a new dimension of the Mountain-Mother’s experience, mirroring our sacred mystic fire associations within, that we will recognise.
Our asana, pranayama, and visualization practices are entirely in nature, usually surrounded by forest trees. Arise from the inner practices with a fire-yoga calm that produces a living bond between self and the divine natural world of Panchassee.
Originating from the Rig Veda, where nature and the feminine are understood as unified forces, this retreat invites a return to sacred womanhood. Inspired by Nepal’s tradition of honoring women as living forms of Shakti, with practices that awaken the mystic Feminine remembrance within. The practices center on the outer fire element to ignite the inner fire, awakening a clarity within.
Panchase mountain is described as the listening ground of the Sages, where the Vedas yoga first took form. Held by the sacred slopes of Panchase and watched over by Mother Annapurna, we remain in intimate contact with a divine Feminine presence. Her profound quiet and calm opens the mind to an inner heart centered awareness of the multi dimensional self.
Unlike many retreats held indoors, this experience unfolds entirely outdoors. Yoga is integrated into walking, breathing, and daily activities, as practiced by classical Yogis. Pranayama is woven into movement along the trails, connecting breath with the mystic level of life-force within.
Accomodation: We will be lodged in Happy Heart, Panchase, a typical Nepali Mountain homestay, overlooking the Annapurna range. The homestay is run by local mountain women, and the stay is part of the local cultural experience. We will be eating wood fire cooked "Dal Bhat" meal and immersing in the local village life, which feels as we have moved back in time.
