Dr. Shama K (MBBS)
Shama is a Medical Doctor (MBBS), Qigong and Yoga Therapist, and a teacher of heart-centered Vedic practices rooted in the wisdom of the Rig Veda — the world’s oldest spiritual text.
Born in Nepal and raised between India and China, she carries a unique blend of both science and spirit. Her path began with modern medicine at Capital Medical University, Beijing, but soon expanded into the healing arts of Yoga, Qigong, Acupressure, and Tibetan practices that unite body, mind, and breath.
Drawing from years of study in Classical Yoga, Tibetan Yoga (Tsa Lung), Five Elements Nutrition, and Sound Healing, Shama’s approach is both grounded and transformative. Her work helps people reconnect with their vitality, calm the nervous system, and rediscover clarity and strength through movement, breath, and awareness.
She has also authored a book on the sacred feminine and the living Rig Vedic pilgrimage sites of Nepal — exploring how nature, consciousness, and womanhood are deeply intertwined in ancient Himalayan wisdom.
Through her offering, Classical Yoga of the inner Fire, Shama guides people into simple yet profound practices that use sound, rhythm, and breath to release stress and awaken the inner light.
Shama also leads retreats for women across the Himalayan regions where sacred feminine traditions are still alive. These spaces are designed for rest, renewal, and remembering one’s natural power — not as something to achieve, but as something to come home to.
She walks between the worlds of science and spirit, offering a bridge for anyone — whether drawn by curiosity, healing, or devotion — to experience a more grounded, peaceful, and luminous way of being.
